Te Tari Puna Ora o Aotearoa/NZ Childcare Association (NZCA) is governed by a Council made up of elected and appointed members and led by a National President, supported by a National Kaumātua and a Kaiwhakahaere. Māori and Pasifika interests are well represented in the Council which includes academics and centre owners.
National Office is based in Wellington and coordinates our key activities including:
- Membership services
- Advocacy
- Teacher education
With 15 teaching bases nationwide NZCA is one of the largest providers of early childhood teacher education in the country.
Our membership services team have regular engagements with members and keep them informed of what is happening around the sector.
