Charmaine began her ECE career teaching in the State Kindergarten sector and then moved into the private ECE sector as Assistant Director in Wellington. Charmaine returned to the ECE sector working for the Ministry of Education in the Early Childhood and Regional Education group on a range of praxis-based research programmes.
More recently she worked with an Industry Training Organisation on workplace based learning programmes for the state sector where she was responsible for supporting learners in the workplace to achieve national qualifications across a range of areas including border management, first line management and business administration.
