Our Voice

Advocating for quality early childhood education

Te Tari Puna Ora o Aotearoa/NZ Childcare Association (NZCA) actively advocates for quality early childhood education in New Zealand. We meet regularly with key policy makers to represent our members' views. We also participate in a range of consultative forums and prepare submissions on issues of relevance to our members.

Minister of Education attends NZCA graduation

Minister of Education, Hon Anne Tolley MP attended the NZCA Whakatane graduation on 31st January as guest speaker.

The Minister delivered a speech signalling the National-lead government’s priorities for early childhood education. Her speech spoke highly of the work of Te Tari Puna Ora o Aotearoa / NZ Childcare Association and of the importance of ECE teacher qualifications.
