Bicultural Opportunities

Te Tari Puna Ora o Aotearoa/NZ Childcare Association (NZCA) recognises Te Tiriti o Waitangi as a key foundation document underpinning early childhood education in New Zealand.

We actively promote recognition of tangata whenua culture and promote the use of te reo Māori throughout our activities. You'll experience this on your first day, where staff will gather to welcome you with a mihi whakatau. As a staff member you'll have access to te reo Māori classes and be able to grow your competence and confidence along with your colleagues.

Professional Development

As an education provider we recognise that people are our most important asset and we actively invest in your learning and development. We provide every employee with an individual professional development allowance to assist them in their career development.

Once a year you will also have the opportunity to get together with all of our staff from across New Zealand at a national hui. At these hui you'll explore new ideas and research, network with others and reignite your passion in your work.

Equal Employment Opportunities

We employ the most suitable candidate for the job. We are committed to providing equality of opportunity in employment irrespective of who you are, where you come from and what you believe.
